アニモカブランズ(Animoca Brands)、日本企業への出資続々香港を拠点とするゲーム会社で、ブロックチェーンゲームでの成功で知られ、積極的に投資活動も展開しているアニモカブランズ(Animoca Brands)が日本での投資を進めているようです。
同社は2021年10月にアニモカブランズジャパンを設立し、2022年8月には本社や三菱UFJ銀行から4500万ドルを調達していました。アニモカブランズジャパンでは講談社、集英社、サンリオなど日本のコンテンツホルダーと提携し「日本の知財・IPホルダーの、最先端のWEB3.0戦略とグローバル展開をサポートする」としています。
今年に入って、XR領域で事業展開する株式会社Psychic VR Labに1億円の出資を発表しているほか、日本経済新聞によれば、VTuber事業の大手で「RIOT MUSIC」や「ぶいすぽっ！」などを展開する株式会社Brave Groupに3億円の出資を行ったそうです。
報道によればVTuberとNFTを組み合わせた展開が計画されているようです。Brave Groupも「メタバース経済圏を牽引する、総合エンタメ商社へ。」と掲げているようで、ブロックチェーンも大きな要素になっていきそうです。
